Sofia lost her 2nd tooth!!

Sofia lost her first tooth on Aug 11. We had been eating some corn for dinner and it was about to come out, so I told her to brush her teeth. Well that's all it took was eating some corn and a little brushing and it came right out

Grandma made her a tooth pillow!
Sofia lost her 2ND tooth today. Steve was trying to get it out before she went to bed. We were afraid she would swallow it. But he couldn't get it. So Grandma came in and wiggled it and it came right out. She loves getting a present from the toothfairy.

Wisconsin Dells

Steve went to Sofia's school to talk about his job. It's police week. Steve said Sofia was SO excited to see him. She came running to him to give him a BIG HUG. All the kids made him Thank You cards.

We took the kids to the dells after Sofia got out of school. This was not planned so Sofia and Drew were very excited when we told them where we were going. We usually plan a dell's trip in November for Sofia's adoption day. But this year we went early. I'm sure we will be back in November or December or even both months. Sofia has lots of day's off.

Sofia first field trip was to the apple orchard. I'm one of the room mom, so I got to go. It was Sofia's first time on a school bus! I had the option to take the bus or my own car. I rode the bus with Sofia. (But didn't' take any pictures on the bus) The kids learned how they pick the apples, separate and wash them. We all got a cider apple donut and cider apple juice. They were yummy!! I can't wait till there next field trip, we are going to the tree farm in December.

Today we celebrated Steve's birthday. In the morning we had playgroup at a apple orchard. Then home for lunch and nap.. Then we went out to dinner, Steve pick one of my favorite places to eat Shogun. Then it was home to open presents. Hope you had a wonderful birthday. Love you!!

Happy birthday TY. Our boy is 8 year's young today. He got to go to the store and pick out a new baby. (He picked a cow, which he tries to carry on his walk) We took him to McDonald's for a plain hamburger, and he picked out a pig ears for his treat.

We enrolled Drew at the YMCA. They have a wonderful preschool/swim lesson program. Every friday Drew gets to go play and swim for 2 hours. This is the first time we have left Drew with anyone other than family. He loves it.

So had a great day at school today. We got to take her into her school, I didn't want to leave her. We said our "see you later" and I walked out crying. I didn't let Sofia see me. I'm just in shock on how time flies by so quickly.

We have had a busy summer, with play date, vacation, parks, zoo's and the fair. We will be saying goodbye to summer next week. Sofia starts Kindergarten on the 24Th. We can't believe it!

Rmembering Grandpa Ed

Two years ago today, we lost Grandpa Ed to cancer. He is missed greatly. We released balloons in honor of him. The kids each got to either write a letter or color a picture. Sofia choose to do both. They each got to release there balloon, but before they did they gave the balloon a kiss. And said please carry this balloon, picture and kiss to heaven for our grandpa.

They were thinking of a name for there new animals!
They needed a bath before they could come home! Today, we took Sofia and Drew to build a bear workshop. Sofia has been asking to go here for about a month. I was so shocked at what Sofia picked out. She picked a lamb. Drew's was not a shock, he picked a horse. Grandma picked out a panda bear and a wolf. The kids are so in LOVE with there animals. I can see we will be going back to order accessories. What a great day we had with Grandma!

A Healing Journey On Butterfly Wings

Today, we went to Klehm Arboretum to release butterflies. The butterfly release was a program through our local Hospice. We released 6 butterflies in honor of Grandpa Ed. One for each of his grandchildren. It was so beautiful and such a wonderful experience. Thank you Mom for doing this for all of us. We all miss Grandpa Ed. Today felt like he was right along side of us.

Minnesota Vacation

We just got back from our vacation in Minnesota. We went to Ojibway resort, Steve grandparents used to own it. We had fun seeing where Steve spent his summers. The kids loved catching fish.

Somethings I learned on my vacation:

1) Minnesota is beautiful!!

2) Minnesota has mosquito's the size of birds. Next time we will bring more bug spray for the outside of our cabin.

3) We can survive a week with no T.V.

4) We should of brought more warm clothes.

5) I loved the boat ride, but the fishing was not my cup of tea!

Today, we went to Sofia's school for a picnic. The kids all played on the playground and the mom's and dad's got to have hot dogs for lunch. The kids were way to busy to sit and eat. Sofia is really going to miss all her friends. Next year she will be going to a different school. She is very excited to be out of school and for summer to begin.

Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day weekend at my Uncle Jeff and Aunt Cindy's house. The kids loved it. They have lots of land. So the kids were able to run and play, they have four wheelers and a swing set. Everything a kid would want. They also have beef cows, Drew got to feed the baby calf. Thank you for having us.

"Our 3 Monkey's"

Today was the last day Kyunguk would be staying with us. It was such an Honor to have him stay with us this past weekend. I hope we didn't wear him out! On his last day we decided to take him to the zoo. It was a beautiful day, until it started to rain after we ate lunch. So we had to cut our zoo day short.

After dinner it was time to say our goodbyes, or what I like to say "see you later! It was very sad:(

We had such a wonderful time being a Host Family. We didn't know what to expect. Wow, such an amazing experience. Kyunguk will always be part of our family, and will always be welcome here with his "American Family" He is such a wonderful man. The kids love him, and we do to. Both kids continue to ask when Hyeong/Oppa is coming back. We all miss him very much:(

Sofia had a Mother's Day program. The program was soooo cute. After the program the teacher told us all the kids had a special surprise for all the mom's. Sofia painted me a stepping stone. It's very cute.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's! I had a wonderful Mother's. It started out with breakfast with My Mother-in-law. We then came home and had fun playing with the kids in the backyard. My wonderful husband cook us dinner on the Grill. Happy Mother's Day Mom, I Love you! I owe you lots!

We had a wonderful Easter. The kids got lots and lots of candy. They went on two Easter egg hunts. We had our first Coke tasting contest. We had Korean Coke vs American Coke. Guess which one won? We had such a fun day. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.

Today, we took Kyunguk to his first American baseball game. Of course it would have to be a Cubs game. He said he had fun. He also said the American fans are not as bad as the Korean fans. I told him that it was early in the game and by the time the game was over the fans would be drunk. Which is what happened. The Cubs were losing and they did come back to win. So the fans were crazy.

We finally got to meet Miss Ella! We met Ella's mom and dad way back in 2006. When we first signed up to adopt. They were in our waiting families group. We are so happy for them they finally got their daughter last year. They had moved out of state before Ella came home, so this was our first time meeting her. Two other families that were in our waiting group were also there. It was so nice getting together again after all this time. We would love to make this a yearly event.

International Dinner

Joann is the student we would love to have join our family. She is here for 4 years. Kyunguk is leaving in May. We will be very sad when he leaves.

The college that our student is attending had a dinner for all the host families today. The students made so many wonderful dishes.

We had a wonderful time this year at our Korean New Year Party. The students all were wonderful and helped cook a dish for the party. Kyunguk made Duk Guk, it was really good. He was such a good Oppa to play with Sofia and her dollhouse after all the cooking was done.

Today Sofia tested for her orange belt. Our student went with, to help her practice before the test. She passed she has her orange belt. In March she is in a tournament for board breaking and sparring. That is what the teacher said we should enter her in.

After her testing we took Kwon to H-Mart. It's a Asian market to pick-up ingredients for Duk Gook that we are making for Seolnal. (Korean New Year Party) I'll let you all know if the soup is good.

Today, Sofia turns five years old. Wow she is growing way to fast. Before we know it she will be in high school. She got a present from Uncle Jay. ( Disney Princess DVD) "Grand Master Ha" from her TKD school gave her a gift also. Her grandparents are in Florida and sent Sofia a flower cake. Grandma took her shopping so she picked out all her present from her grandma.

Busy Weekend

We have been very busy. Saturday we went and cut down our Christmas tree. That night our town had the Christmas parade. Sunday us girls went to the see the movie Tangled. Monday we didn't have anything planned. On Tuesday night we took Sofia to see Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. The play was very very good. Sofia was so happy, she has been talking about it all day. We don't have anything planned for this weekend. Which is nice we need a few down days.

This is Sofia on her way home. We landed in Chicago with Sofia 4 years ago today. Wow, our live has changed so much in such a short time. I really think as I get older time goes by faster. Does anyone else agree? We are so blessed to have such wonderful children.

Princess Sofia

Drew with his friend Kenzie. They love playing together. Drew was such a gentleman and took her hand and walked all the way around the block.

We had a wonderful day. We went shopping for the kids. Then we took them over to Grandma and Grandpa's T house. They got lots of candy. We didn't even open the 3 bags we bought at the store today. We have so much candy left over. I wonder what we will do with it all.

Sofia loved that she had 2 customs. We bought her the Mulan one and Grandma got her the sleeping beauty one. She had asked grandma for it months ago, thank you. The girls will both have beautiful dress up clothes to play with. Drew loved his woody custom. We can't wait until Tuesday when toy story 3 comes out. That was Drew's first movie at the theaters.

Sofia's Gotcha Day

Princess Sofia.

Four years ago today, Sofia was placed in our arms. Wow how time flies. Sofia had a mini concert at school today, she did great. We remember to bring the video camera. She always likes seeing herself on TV. I really do need to us it more often. After school we took her to her favorite store (Can you guess which one) Target. We have always gotten the kids something for our forever day. Sofia picked out a book, candy, and a DVD. Tonight we told her she got to pick dinner. She picked Pizza Ranch. Which is kinda funny we had pizza in China. I think every year she has picked Pizza, I guess we have made it a tradition to eat pizza on Gotcha Day. We are so very Blessed to have her in our lives. We love you Princess Sofia. We also went to the Dells this week, this is another tradition. Here are some of the pictures from the Dells, and her concert.

Trunk or Treat with FCC

Tonight our local FCC had a trunk or treat party. Sofia and Drew loved seeing all the other kids. Sofia was Mulan and Drew was Woody. It was so cooled they had to wear there coats. They got lots and lots of candy. While they are in bed, we are going through the candy to see what we want for ourselves. Sofia is in her bed saying "Trick or Treat". Tomorrow she has a mini concert at her preschool.

This past weekend we had a wonderful dinner to celebrate Chusoek. The food was so good. The boys were all so cute in there hanbok. What a great way to honor Drew's culture. This was our second time getting together for Chusoek. I hope we will continue this for many years. Thank you everyone. We had a great time.

Warm Weather Fun

The weather has been so nice. On Monday, went went to the park to take some fall pictures of the kids. They turned out great. I only wish I could get the kids to smile. I would love to go back and try again. After dinner, Grandma and I took the kids over to the school to play. Drew was loving all the grandma time. If you asks him "Drew are you a grandma's Boy" he says "yes".

Today, we went to the apple orchard. Drew got to ride the pony's for the first time. Oh boy did he LOVE it. He was petting the horse while riding, he showed me his tail and ears. It was so cute to see him so excited.

Today, Sofia tested for her next belt. She did very well. She received another award, for positive attitude. At this rate her arm is going to filled with patches. Drew is so upset he can't be in class. When he is three we might do a trial to see if he can keep up with the other kids. We will just have to wait and see. We are so proud of you Sofia, keep up the good work. We love you.

Today, Steve went to Sofia's school to speak to her class about his job. He said the kids were all so excited to ask question. He said they were all very good and when they wanted to ask a question they would hold up there hands. (Some of the question were way out there, but they are only 3 and 4 years old.) Sofia even had to ask her daddy a question. I know Sofia really enjoyed her daddy coming to school today, and Steve loved going. Anything for his baby girl.

I do know one thing, both of them told me to stop taking pictures. I wasn't able to go with so I had to take as many of them before they left:) :)

On tuesday, our playgroup meet at Anderson garden. It is so beautiful and relaxing. Steve had never been and he enjoyed it. I would love to go back without the kids and have a nice dinner and walk through the gardens.

Today, we went to Holy Hill for the arts and crafts fair. Steve and I went a long time ago, before we were married. I love going to the Basilica. It is so peaceful and beautiful. I would love to go when the leaves are changing colors. We did buy a picture, from an artist with Holy Hill in the background. My mom has one that has snow angels in front of the Basilica. I was hoping I could get a good picture and get it framed to hang on my wall.

Drew's first Gym class

We signed Drew up for a gym class at our local fitness center. Drew had lots of fun, his friends Dane and Micah are also in the class. Drew did OK, it's his first class of anything. I think as he gets used to it he will listen better.
Tonight he did a somersault all by himself. So he has already learned something in the first week of class. Drew can't wait until next week. He was so happy after class he came home and told grandma "Gym Class Fun"

Drew's first haircut

I should say, first haircut that didn't involve us shaving his head. He did really well, until the electric razor came out. He is very sensitive around his neck and ears. We like how it turned out. The lady told us we could do a faux hawk (Fohawk). We might try one tomorrow and see how it looks. The ladies said he was so handsome, in which Drew said "Yes" He is becoming the little parrot he repeats everything, he is putting three word sentences together. Nothing gets pass him. And he has developed "The Look" Just like his mommy.

Today, we went to our adoption agency annual picnic. We enjoyed seeing everyone. The kids see all there friends. We can't believe that it's been 5 years since the first time we went. I remember the first one we didn't even have Sofia yet. All the kids have changed so much.

Drew loves the animals. They had a baby cafe, 3 day old goats, pigs, chickens and a turkey. Daddy showed up and surprised us. I like this one because it looks like Steve is given Drew a ticket. Both kids were really happy that Steve could join us.

Wow it's already September

Where has the summer gone? We have had a wonderful yet busy summer. I just can't believe it's September already. We have been so blessed this summer with such beautiful weather. We had a wonderful vacation, had lots of playdates with our friends. I'm sure we will be just as busy this fall. We might be going on another vacation. Sofia is enjoying school and next week Drew starts a gym class. I'll post pictures of our first day. Some pictures of what we have been doing.

After we saw Thomas we came home and Grandma had gotten all the Thomas train stuff out. Drew is still playing with it. He loves Thomas the train. (Someone tell my why we took him to see Thomas, he didn't know who Thomas was before that)

We went to a new place called Bounce O Roma with Steve's sister Stacy, Brandon, Lilly and Grandma and Grandpa T. It was a lot of fun. We already made plans to visit again.

One of the apple orchards opened up a week ago. We meet Erica and Micah out there. The kids had so much fun playing and eating the apples and donates. We already have plans to go

tomorrow. Fun Fun.

The house is completed. I wanted all of us on the front porch, but my mom won't get in the picture. I should of photoshop her in.

Thomas the Train

We went to A day out with Thomas. We meet Erica, Jeramey and Micah. We were not able to sit with them on the train, but joined them after the train ride. The kids really enjoyed the train. They also liked playing in the water. Thanks Erica and family for joining us, we had fun.

First day of 4 year old Preschool

Today was Sofia's first day of preschool. She will be going all day three days a week. Sofia didn't want to go this morning. I didn't want her to stay all day. When we left I was crying and when we picked her up I was crying. This is the first time I have been away from her that long. I don't even want to think about kindergarten. When we picked her, we asked if she like school and she said yes. Steve had a special treat for her. He took all of us to DQ for ice cream. I'm hoping that Monday will be better for me.

Drew enjoyed the day with us all to himself. We took him to the fair. He loved seeing all the animals and seeing his cousin Kayla.

Zoo and Sofia's Yellow Belt

We had a busy day. We went to the zoo with my sister, niece, great niece, and Lyle. We had a great time, seeing all the animals. We want to go back in the fall. I have never been in the fall or winter. When we got home from the zoo, it was time for TKD. Sofia received her yellow belt today. Grand Master Ha was the one who gave our the belts. He called her "Sofia China".

He also told us we had a picture of her that he was going to make into a poster. He told us we could buy it from him for 1,000. He laughed while he said it. We did to.

Tomorrow is Sofia's first full day of Pre K 4. I don't know how we or how she is going to handle it. All day without Sofia. Before she went to bed, she told me she doesn't want to go to school. I'm a little sad, last year she loved school. I hope she likes it once she gets there.

Taekwondo Class

Today Sofia tested for her yellow belt. She did really good. When all the kids were done getting their awards, Grand Master asked the parents of Sofia to stay. I thought oh no what happened. Sofia got Best student award. She got a patch and a medal. We are so proud of her. Steve had to work, so my sister went with. Thanks Tina, for going and taking pictures.

Fair Time

We took the kids to the fair this week. It was very hot, but we had a great time. We went with another family, who adopted their girls from China. The girls are almost the same age, and they enjoy seeing each other. We hope to see them more since they moved closer to us.
Sofia and Drew were not too sure about the rides. But Sofia LOVED the horse ride. Drew LOVED the fishing game.

Water Fun

It has been VERY hot in the upper 90's, with a heat index over 100. The kids and I have been playing with there water ball. Sofia and Drew love the water. If they could they would be in a pool everyday. We had parents night at Sofia's preschool this week. We can't believe next Friday she starts school again. This year she will be in PreK 4. She will be going 3 days a week instead of 2 and we also choose to put her in all day. I don't know how she will do, but we figured next year she will be going 5 days a week all day.

Summer time

This was our girls night out. My sister took the family (girls to Lino's for dinner. Thanks Tina, we should do it more.

My boys, grandma got them a new toy. They were showing off. Such good boys.

I can't believe how fast this summer has gone by. Sofia starts school in two weeks. We have been very busy with the house. It is almost done, we just have to put some trim up, do some landscaping and clean the basement. I'm hopeful we can have a garage sale this year. We brought 5 truck loads home from storage and almost all of it were Sofia and Drew's toys. If we don't have one this year we are going to have one in the spring.

We went to the Atlanta Zoo. They have two panda's. The male panda was very active, unlike the female who just sat in a tree. It brought back a lot of memories for me and Steve. If you are ever in Atlanta you have to visit the zoo.

Our first night there, we went out for taco's. My brother Nick didn't think Sofia could eat one of the biggest taco's on the menu. She almost did, I think she had too many chips before the dinner, otherwise she would of finished it. The kids played really well together. The second day, we went to the Atlanta Aquarium. That was really neat to see. The kids really enjoyed seeing all the fish. We also played at world of Coke. It right by where the Atlanta Olympics were held.

Today was a very busy day. We went to see the parade this morning. After naps we went to our neighbors for a cookout. After dinner we went to see the fireworks. This is Sofia and Drew's first time seeing the fireworks. They did OK, they got a little bored. I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4Th. The kids are still awake, and it's going on 11:00. To much sugar from the parade. (Ha Ha)

Birthday Party, Korean Picnic, Granduation Party=Busy Weekend

This weekend has been very busy. On Saturday our niece Lilly turned 1. She got lots of new toys and clothes. Lilly loved that she had her very own cake to eat. So sweet.

This is Sofia's Ta kwon do instructors Master Park. We were a little surprised to see him today. He did a demo for all of us, he is very good. Sofia even went and sat on his lap during lunch. He is very good with the children.

Aunt Julie was being nice to Steve today.

On Sunday, we were invited to a Korean picnic. They had a church service first. I really enjoyed the service. Steve and the kids were busy making butterflies with the bible school teacher. After the service, we ate lunch. Wow the food was soooo good. We had such a great time. The people were all so nice. We will definitely be back next year. After lunch we were off to my cousin Dustin graduation party. I sure hope the kids sleep in tomorrow. I'm tired and can't wait until 8, so I can go to bed.

Potty Training

Drew has decided he wants to be a big boy and use the potty. We thought he was ready a couple of months ago, but he wasn't. We're not sure if this is going to last, he still young I think. He has been doing so well. The first day he had 3 accidents. The second day 2 accidents. And today we had 2. We does really well with the underwear Grandma got him. I told him Thomas doesn't want to get wet. So Drew's says "No Pee Pee on Thomas NO" It is so cute. Of course we give him a M&M for going. When Drew goes into the Bathroom without me I hear "Mommy Pee Pee M&M" The only thing I dislike is Drew thinks he can empty the potty himself. You can imagine the mess, right. Wish us luck. If anyone has any suggestion please let us know.

On Monday, we went to the Cheese Cake factory for my moms birthday. I had never been. We had such a great time. My mom share her birthday with Wrigley. Today, Sofia had her dress rehearsal. She did a great job. We taped it, and tonight played it over and over again. I think it might have helped her. We got her pictures taken yesterday and I still need to scan them to put them on the blog. They turned out so cute.

Busy Summer already

We have had such a busy week already. We had two graduation parties on Sunday. Monday we went to the zoo. Tuesday was Sofia Taekwondo class and today we went to YMCA camp. I love having something planned everyday. The kids enjoy all the activities. We have been trying to plan our summer vacation.

The construction on the house continues at a slow pace. We wish it was done already, we still have carpet and new floor to put in, before we can all have our own room. Along with painting the whole house. The kids have been sharing and we would like Sofia to have a big girl bed and Drew to have his toddler bed. Lots to do yet.

Last day of Preschool and First day of Taekwondo

Today was Sofia last day of 3 year old preschool. The school had a picnic lunch for the kids and their parents. Sofia got a shirt with all of her classmates name on the back. It's hard to believe a year has already gone by. I still remember the first day of school. Sometimes it's scary how time goes soooooo fast......

Tonight, Sofia had her first tae kwon do class. She really liked it. When we got home she wanted to do more kicking and punching. Master Park, wrote her name in Korean on her uniform. Sofia's cousin Alyssa and friend Michael are in class with her.

My mothers day presents.

I had such a great day. Sofia made me a Mother's Day present at preschool. She has wanted me to open the present since Thursday. So first thing this morning she brought the present to me and told me "mommy you can open the present it's mothers day." Steve bought me a fire pit, I've been wanting one for about a year. Can't wait to make some S' More.

I'm so thankful for the mom I have. She has made me the woman that I am today. I love you Mom.

Today, I said a pray for Sofia and Drew's mother. I pray they know that I'm doing everything to be the BEST mom I can. Thank you God for letting me be a mom to 4 wonderful kids!

On Sunday, Steve took Drew down to watch the cars race. This was Drew's first time. He liked Uncle Kevin's car.

Today, we went to the park with our friends. Dane and Sofia played really well today. Drew was a little crabby. He was woke up by his sister at 6:30am. Drew is not a morning person to begin with so, he was not happy. After the park and some lunch Drew took a extra long nap.

Construction has STARTED

Today, we started the construction on the addition to the house. We are putting in a bedroom, and adding on to the front of the garage. I hope it goes quickly. The kids like playing in the dirt. I praying the rain stays away, so they can continue to work. The kids really like riding in the bobcat. I think Sofia and Drew were a little scared at first. Alyssa, didn't want to get off.

We had a wonderful Easter. Saturday, we went to Steve's parents house to decorate eggs and an Easter egg hunt. Sunday, we went to church and saw "The Pickles" After church we had a wonderful dinner. My mom cooked it was sooooo good. (Her cooking is always Good) Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Sofia has been on Easter break this week, we have been busy.

Today, we took the kids to our communities Easter egg hunt. They had lots of fun finding eggs. Drew won a basket full of stuff. They had horse wagon rides and Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny were there. I was shocked that both kids sat next to the Easter bunny. This year with Santa didn't go so well. We have 3 more hunts during the week. By the end of this week our kids will be pros at finding eggs. We had a great time with our family and friends. Thanks everyone for such a great day.

Doctors Appointments

This week I took both Sofia and Drew to the doctors. Sofia was 40 1/4" (70th %) and 34 1/4
lbs (50th%) Drew was 35 3/4" (75th%) and 30 lbs (75th%). I think they will pass me by the time they start kindergarten. They both got shots. Drew also had to get his blood drawn. He did great. Sofia didn't not. She cried and cried. She still said her leg hurt that night. Doctor told her she was done with shots until she is six. Guess what she told me on the way home. I'm never going to turn six. I don't want to be six.

We celebrated Drew's Birthday on Saturday. Since he is a leap year baby we can celebrate it on any day. He got lots of cool things for his birthday. He loved his Elmo cake. Thanks, Erica. My mom and I made the cake and Steve decorated it.
Drew has become very interested in the potty chair. Grandma and Steve got the opportunity of cleaning up after he had went #2 and then took off his diaper and sat on the potty.
We just want to say a loving thank you to Drew's birth parents and foster mom in Korea. Without them, our lives wouldn't be the same. We are truly blessed!

Sofia didn't get a nap. So she crashed as soon as we got home.

Today is the Chinese, Korean New Year. We went to our local FCC, for a Chinese New Year party.(We were not able to make the Korean party last week)The kids had lots of fun. It's always great to see old friends. I can't believe how kids change so fast, from one year to the next.
The unpacking is going well. Today, as we were going to the FCC party, Sofia asked if we could go home to get some juice. We had to explain that we don't live in our old house anymore. If you ask her if she likes the new house AKA Grandma's house she says I love it.....
I would like to ask for a prayer for my mom.

Today, Sofia turned 4 years old. We can't believe how time goes by way toooooo fast. I keep posting on how blessed our family is. We thank God everyday, for the blessings we have been given. I feel a little guilty for not having a fun filled day with Sofia. We did go to lunch, with my good friend and neighbor. The day was mostly spent packing. We close on the house Friday. So everything has to be out by tomorrow. Our last night in our house. I'll miss our neighbors we have grown close to.

Sofia's Birthday Party

We had such a wonderful day today. Sofia wanted an Ariel party, and that's what she got. She loved all the gifts. Tonight after bath, daddy and Sofia played her leapster. Sofia's dentist appointment.

I took Sofia to her Dentist appointment today. She did wonderful. They were able to clean, polish and floss her teeth. She did so good. Dr. de Guzman said her teeth were very clean. He even made her an animal balloon. I was jealous Dr. de Guzman has never made me a animal balloon, maybe next time I'll get one. :) She got a new toothbrush, and she got to pick out a toy.

Nine years ago today, Steve and I got married. Wow, who would of guess that we would still be in the same house and have 2 beautiful children, and 2 fur babies. I can still remember the day after our wedding, we were headed to Hawaii. Oh how I wish I was going there today. Happy Anniversary to my Wonderful husband. He sure does put up with a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, Steve had his self defense tactic training. Guess what that means for us. If you guessed that we become the bad men (women) that's right. He practices on us. Tonight, Drew didn't like it when he was showing me the moves, so he jumped right on his head. Luckily no one was hurt. Well, I shouldn't say that. Daddy said his head was kinda sore. The three of us were able to take him down.......
